Woodworking companies whose planers operate continuously must regularly change the tools. It makes economic sense for these companies to have a separate grinder.
Planer heads and change shafts can be ground on the SWK cylindrical grinders. They guarantee a perfectly ground smooth running and thus perfect surface quality of the planed goods.
The maximum grinding length is 1500 mm, it can grind flight circles up to 400 mm. Of course, we place special emphasis on grinding accuracy which in our machines is in thousandths of a millimetre.
