The high-performance planers for continuous industrial use

Use | REX wide planers from the HOMS and SUPERMASTER ranges are put to use where heavy-duty processing is required over long periods of time in connection with the highest precision and performance. Wide components, whether straight or curved, are absolutely no problem for these machines even up to 2600 mm width and 800 mm thickness.

In order be able to plane prestressed or curved components rationally on four sides, even when there are different contours inside and outside we‘ve used technology which is a first in timber processing.
The Linear drive technology. Linear technology positions the right and left side Vertical spindle with constant contact pressure. The extraction hoods are on hinged bearings and can, be swivelled by up to +/- 30° so that they follow the contour of the component.
Additional operating modes:
1. Normal 4-sided planing on straight components (Straight beams) up to 800 mm height possible
2. Vertical shafts as parallel floating shafts for woodchip-saving side working following component curves..
